After getting a massage yesterday, I was pretty sore this morning. Seeing that it would be under 80 degrees for most of the day, I got back in bed at 4am and held off until the end of the day. Tim ran to my house and we went back into town. I got over 10 in, hanging on for dear life on the way back up Route 1. It was a good run. It was really cool running in the shade, but not too unpleasant in the sunlight.
It's sad that these runs are so hard for me. It used to be easy to run 6:30 pace. But any time I have to hang on is good for me. It's the only way that I'll get back to where I need to be so I can run under 2:3o in October.
Tomorrow I'm going to the zoo, have book group, and am going to lift. So no skipping in the morning.
