Today seemed like a turning point for me in the week. I used the stick last night on my legs at the expense of sleep (I wish I had time to do it every night) and I felt a whole lot better starting off today. That wore off about 50 minutes into the run and the pain returned. Justin and Bob and I ran over to Pratt, which was almost entirely clear of snow, and came back into town. They left me around 37 minutes getting back onto Caroline and I finished alone. I would have liked to have gone longer, maybe 10 miles, but I was so sore by the end of the run that I didn't want to push it.
I'm very glad I did hills yesterday and even happier that I had a painful double in the afternoon-- hopefully tomorrow I'll feel fresher. I'm going to TRY to get some sleep tonight.
