In an effort to train through tomorrow's Blue & Grey half-marathon, I did my week's long run today. It was the toughest run of the week, running alone and trying to go slow. I was overdressed in tights and a t-shirt because the weather said feels like 26 degrees when I woke up.
I ran 18 miles. 1:04:14 for the first 9. 1:00:08 for the second 9. Jogging the whole time.
And in the last 7 days I've run 85 miles, with a day off Tuesday, skipping a workout. It was my first day of zero running since the beginning of June.
I'm getting there...
