I hate swimming. This time off has been really boring for me in terms of exercise. I didn't do anything from December 13-21. Nothing at all. It was kind of nice since we didn't have school after the 16th, so I got to sleep in from the 17th on. I swam for 30 minutes each day almost. Twice I only swam from 20 minutes... once for time constraints and once to pool run with Bob afterwards. Today I swam for 32 minutes and got 1800 yards, so over a mile. It was the first day that I've timed it. On Christmas I did nothing, and on the 26th I biked inside for a half hour because the YMCA didn't open until noon and I didn't feel like waiting.
I lifted twice, on the 28th and 30th, for the first time since November 7th. It was very different, because they've started new stuff. I didn't like doing squats, that's for sure. I wasn't too sore afterwards though, because my arms and shoulders are already crazy sore from swimming.
I'm the worst swimmer ever too. I don't use my legs at all, they sort of just hang back behind me. But whatever, I'm in there swimming 30 minutes straight-- not doing fast laps and intervals and taking breaks. It's still boring though.
