I was so tired last night I could barely stay awake driving home from dinner with my mom. This morning I couldn't keep my eyes open long enough to put my contacts in. If my kids weren't testing during my planning period, I would have probably taken a nap then.
I met up with Tim, Bob, Scott and Justin. The latter 3 were doing a track workout, so Tim and I warmed up with them to the track but then went up to the Slavery Museum and back. It was a good progression run. Started the first mile in 8:16, then ended up averaging 7:01 for the whole thing. I love running farther than I usually do in the mornings, especially faster than I usually do. It was more of a recovery day for Tim than for me, but that's OK. I was happy to have him there pulling me along. By the end of it, I actually felt good. It's just hard to get going that quickly in the morning. Tomorrow I may try to replicate this.
