I was supposed to do a workout this morning. Warm up, 4 x 2-mile at 5:40, 5:35, 5:35, 5:30. 800 recovery. Cool down. It's a big workout. I wasn't looking forward to it. I was restless during the night, I didn't use the bathroom before I started running, and my running partners were unaware that we had a workout today. (That last part was controllable and my fault.) So less than 2 miles into the warm-up, I wimp out. My stomach felt like the swordfish that I grilled for dinner last night was fighting, sword and all, to get out of my stomach. I figured, why waste 2 hours of my day running crappy when I can bail this morning and try again tomorrow?

So that's what I'm going to do.

I did manage, barely, to use the restroom at the portopotty before the train station. However I didn't feel better. We went over to Pratt and on the way I asked Justin to slow down. We were going to do the workout over there since we started at 5:30 and it was light out. I got water at Chatham and felt a little better, but not much. We basically did 2-bridges and called it a day. A little under an hour for seven and a half miles. Pretty weak day at the office.
