I was so nervous about waking up to run this morning that I couldn't sleep last night (already knowing about a 2-hour delay). Then I woke up at 4:15 and Bob said he wasn't coming so I went back to bed for 2 hours. I woke up at 6:15 and school was cancelled (again!?!) so I slept another 2 hours.
I rode around the hospital to check the hill and it wasn't great. I decided to go for it since I could get a real long workout in, but if I waited until tomorrow or Thursday, I couldn't. The roads were sloppy but got better throughout the run. I did 4x3 minutes, 4x2 minutes, 4x1 minute at the hospital. It was windy but fairly warm.
I ran really badly and felt awful the whole time. My back was hurting and my legs were toast. Tim joined me in the middle of the 4th 3 minute rep and did the rest with me. We went on a longer cooldown, so I got 15 in for the day. It reminded me of college when I'd do a crappy workout and then a real long cooldown to try to make it worthwhile. I wish I could have just done the workout better...
